Park Skis & Pipe Skis

Liberty LTE 178 twin tip park skiPark skis are a very big growth area for the ski industry. Freestyle skiing has grown at a very rapid rate globally and the UK is following this trend. Our indoor snow dome and our dryslope scene lends itself to park riding really well. We do not have the space for big air and slopestyle, and we do not have the luxury of backcountry snow. A rail feels the same no matter what surface it is on or where it is located.

Park skis are twin tips, which are designed to be ridden backwards with ease. They tend to be fairly stiff in the middle and have pretty straight side-cuts making them more stable on landings and rails.

The size you should ride park skis is very subjective. Some go with shorter more maneuverable park skis, better for quick spins and jibbing. This is ideal if your spending most of your time in the park hitting lots of features. A longer park ski is ideal for big kickers and performing larger tricks. They provide more stability on landing and are more forgiving. The same applies to pipe skis. Shorter for increased maneuverability and longer for stability.

The Liberty Team Edition is Liberty’s park and pipe ski. It comes in 157, 164, 171,178. The bamboo core makes the skis feel really light on your feet and very maneuverable. Find out more about the Liberty LTE park ski.
