Bamboo

As of right now Liberty are the only company to use bamboo cores in 100% of their skis. Liberty believe is bamboo and it is not just a marketing gimmick. The two key reasons for choosing bamboo are performance and sustainability. Bamboo cores provide more pop and energy return than traditional skis. This together with a lower camber provides faster turn initiation. Liberty Skis are a carbon neutral company. Bamboo is fast growing and needs harvesting regularly and by using it instead of more common core woods such as poplar, impact on old-growth forests is reduced.

3 Year Warranty

Liberty Skis offers the longest, most comprehensive warranty in the ski business; three years for failure under normal use. The three year warranty is based on model year therefore 06/07 skis are under warranty until September 1, 2009 and so on. The warranty is for manufacturer failure under normal use.
